We have been inundated with applications to work in Granite’s. Thanks to all of you who have applied! We have moved the application closing date forward to this Friday 19th, so if you haven’t applied yet, please get your application in ASAP.
With the heritage centre and Granite’s coffee shop due to open towards the end of April, we are now recruiting for paid staff to work in the coffee shop.
We are looking for friendly, well presented and enthusiastic staff to take customer orders, serve food and drinks, assist with children’s parties, clear tables and wash pots. Both full-time and part-time vacancies are available. Prior experience of working in a coffee shop is a bonus but not essential. Our main aim is to recruit staff who are passionate about the heritage centre project and what it stands for.
Granite’s will be open 7 days a week from 10am until 5pm, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday availability is crucial and there may also be evening work from time to time. Our aim is for Granite’s to be renowned for it’s high level of customer care and satisfaction, which will require a dedicated and professional team to achieve. A big thank you to everyone who applied for a job at our new Granite’s Coffee Shop. Over a hundred people applied and the standard of applications was very high indeed. We are pleased to say that we now have our small team of staff for the opening in April. We are sorry if you were unsuccessful on this occasion.
