Butterfly Easter Hunt: 19th and 22nd April- Looking for something to do over Easter? On Good Friday (19th) and Easter Monday why not take in the fresh spring air and enjoy our Nunckley Trail Easter Hunt? Just £1.75 a go with a cream egg for everyone taking part.

Heritage centre banner image Steam Trains: 31st March 2019- We have a very special day on March 31st. The GCR will be running steam passenger trains on the Mountsorrel Branch line. These will be top and tailed by the Jinty and Austerity tank engines and will run through to the GCR's main line stations. You can join the train at either Quorn, Rothley or the Heritage Centre stations and ride a round trip for only £6 adults and £3 children! Halloween spooky wood weekend banner Spooky Wood Weekend 27th – 28th October- Our volunteers will once again be transforming the Nunckley Trail into a spooky adventure to be enjoyed on the run up to Halloween. Come and look for the ghosts and witches. What can you find cooking in the witch's cauldron? Don't get caught in the cobwebs at the willow arch! DMU at Nunckley Hill Trains Running: 20th and 21st October 2018- We are pleased to announce that the GCR will again be running their DMU on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October. Stram toys in action Steam Toys in Action: 22nd Sep 2018- A team of steam toy enthusiasts are joining us at the Heritage Centre to showcase a variety of their steam engines and toys. Lots of steam toys will be on display, including toy trains, toy steam engines, model train tracks and a quarter size traction engine, all in our Railway Museum for you to enjoy!
