Festival of Archaeology Tours 2019

As part of the Leicestershire & Rutland Festival of Archaeology why not join Robert for a guided tour looking at the history and archaeology of Nunckley Hill Quarry, the restored Mountsorrel Railway (the Swithland branch line), the remains of the 19th century building known as “Dobb Hall”, and the 1888 MSLR 6-wheeled passenger carriage.

Tours cost £5 per person, start at 2pm from outside Granite’s Coffee Shop and last for between 1½ and 2 hours.

Tours will take place on:-

  • Sunday 14th July
  • Wednesday 17th July
  • Sunday 21st July
