It’s 4 years ago today since the Heritage Centre opened! Back then we opened with only the Heritage Centre, Granite’s, the Nunckley Trail and the Mountsorrel Railway.
Since then we’ve added a second nature trail, a den building area, garden railway, Granite’s Shack, crazy golf, Quarry Heritage Building, Mountsorrel Railway Museum, a restoration workshop, a narrow gauge railway, standard gauge shunting sidings, stone masons huts and the new Nunckley Garden Nursery where you’ll soon be able to buy plants for your garden!
That’s quite a list for only 4 years!

One of our volunteers has created a short film of the site with his drone, which he shot a couple of weeks ago. The bluebells are now flowering and make an appearance towards the end. Hope you enjoy!
