The Great Central Railway will be running trains from their main line onto the Mountsorrel branch line on Sunday 28th July, Wednesday 7th and 14th August and Sunday 25th August. For just £7 (£4 for children) you can take a trip on their Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) taking a circular route stopping at Quorn, Nunckley Hill, Mountsorrel, Rothley and then back to Quorn. We have a very special day on March 31st. The GCR will be running steam passenger trains on the Mountsorrel Branch line. These will be top and tailed by the Jinty and Austerity tank engines and will run through to the GCR’s main line stations. You can join the train at either Quorn, Rothley or the Heritage Centre stations and ride a round trip for only £6 adults and £3 children!
