There are just two more train running days this year. The Great Central Railway will be running trains from their main line onto the Mountsorrel branch line on Sunday 29th September and Sunday 27th October. For just £7 (£4 for children) you can take a trip on their Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) taking a circular route stopping at Quorn, Nunckley Hill, Rothley and then back to Quorn. Apologies but trains will not continue beyond Nunckley Hill up to Mountsorrel.
The GCR website has full ticketing information. We recommend buying your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
You can also watch shunting demonstrations on each day, and don’t forget that the Garden Railway and crazy golf will also be in operation.
