On Saturday we had a visit from a group of young people from all over the midlands who came to us for a team building exercise ahead of a charity working trip abroad.
We set them on the task of laying the last track panel in the back of the museum; you can’t lay track unless you work as a team so it was an ideal task for them to get stuck into.
The 2 hour visit was a triumph.
We certainly made a very professional impression and the schools were so impressed by the project’s education potential they want to bring future groups from as far away as Grantham! This further reinforces the educational potential of the project, which Education Minister Nicky Morgan also realised when she visited a couple of weeks ago.
